Sam Fleischner joins Now Instant from the Rockaways for a presentation of his latest.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Fleischner and Madeline Hollander.

Jetty documents two years of the decades-long federal project of installing granite jetties to protect the Rockaways from the effects of future storm events. This mighty human effort to slow erosion was captured on Super 16mm, and features an original score from Animal Collective.
