Authorized Dealer Gallery and Now Instant present an exhibition that contrasts voyeurism and observation, exploring how the former seeks control and intrusion while the latter seeks connection and understanding. In this context, we invited ten filmmakers to explore how the act of looking influences our perceptions, ethics, and relationships with what we observe. The result is a diverse collection of exhibition-specific and archival moving image works, each responding to the theme through various formats and perspectives.

The evening serves as the culmination of a weeklong exhibition at Authorized Dealer (1741 Silver Lake Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026), and features the Los Angeles premiere of Steven Traylor's 3287 days ago (first draft), as well as work from Robbie Corral, Marie Valognes, Benedetta Fioravanti, Jack Paradise, Rikki Wright, Olivia De Chiara, Erinn Springer, Jason Nocito, and Brian Karlsson. 

An initial ticketed screening block at 7pm will be followed by the film running on loop for the duration of the evening.

Loop entry is free from 8:30-11pm. No ticket necessary.
