A minimum of one week’s notice is required for all rental bookings.
A security deposit in the amount of $250 is required for Client to reserve their scheduled booking date. This $250 is for incidental charges, and will be returned in full if the rental period is completed without damage or issue. This deposit is a separate charge from payment of the Rental Fee.
Payment of the Rental Fee is due 72 hours prior to the scheduled rental. Now Instant will follow up with an email reminder 96 business hours prior. If payment is not received by 48 hours prior to the scheduled rental, the booking will be canceled, and the Client’s security deposit will be forfeited.
If Client would like to change the date of the scheduled rental, this must be requested at least 72 hours prior to the original scheduled rental date and time so as to not incur an additional fee. If Client requests a change to their scheduled rental date with less than 72 hours notice, they can do so, but will be charged an additional $350 change fee.
A Client’s cancellation of a rental booking with less than 14 day notice will forfeit their security deposit.
All Digital Screening Files (DCP, PRORES, H.264) must be delivered to Now Instant at a minimum of 72 hours prior to the scheduled rental. Files can be delivered physically on an external drive, transferred to the Now Instant Filemail Account, or sent via a WeTransfer, Dropbox, or Google Drive link emailed to printtraffic@now-instant.la. Now Instant is not responsible for any technical difficulties that might occur if Client’s Screening Files are delivered less than 72 hours prior to the scheduled rental.
Client is permitted to bring an external hard drive containing Screening Files the night of the scheduled booking, but Now Instant is not responsible for any technical difficulties that might arise.
Physical Print Traffic (16MM) must be delivered to Now Instant at a minimum of 72 hours prior to the scheduled rental. Now Instant is not responsible for any technical difficulties that might occur if Print Traffic is delivered by Client less than 72 hours prior to the scheduled rental.
Access to the building is limited to Client’s booked rental hours—no early entry available. All event logistics, including setup, load-in, sound check, and wrap, will need to take place within the rental period stated in the contract. It is required that all guests associated with the event have vacated the property by Client’s scheduled end time.
Facilitation of Online Ticketing on behalf of Now Instant includes: a private URL listing on Now Instant’s Site where tickets can be purchased, the emailing of QR ticket confirmations and receipts to purchasing customers, and coordination of guest check-ins at the front desk. Stripe processing fees of 2.9% + $.30 per transaction, and Filmbot processing fees of $1 per transaction apply, and are non-negotiable. Clients are permitted to select whether processing fees will be the responsibility of themselves or their customers. Proceeds of Ticket Sales will be remitted to Client via check following the completion of booking, and the return of Client’s security deposit.
Outside Food Items require approval. Approved foods must be served and consumed in the Bar area throughout the entirety of the rental period. Outside Food Items are not permitted in the Screening Room. Cooking or preparation of food items is not permitted on-site.
Outside concession items such as pre-packaged candy and popcorn are not permitted.
All BYOB beverages must be canned or bottled. If Client wishes to bring BYOB beverages that require pouring into plastic cups, Client agrees that all BYOB open cups must be served and consumed in the Bar area throughout the entirety of the rental period. Open cups are not permitted in the Screening Room.
Rental bookings for music performances and listening parties are permitted. Client must provide all equipment necessary to perform. Now Instant does not provide performance equipment for bookings of this nature, including but not limited to: mixers, PA’s, mic stands, and amplifiers.
Cinema seating is fixed. Chairs cannot be removed or added to the screening room.
Rentals of eight hours or more are eligible to receive 15% off the total rental price.
